Latest Photowalk video: Flagstaff
N. Arizona small town rich in history and photo ops
As many of you know, I recently spent some time in the Northern Arizona mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona and fell in love.
Looking for a great place to visit in the coming months, or as you plan a trip for 2022? May I recommend historic, nostalgic Flagstaff, which is dead center in the heart of old Route 66, and nearby the Grand Canyon and Sedona?
I recently brought the Photowalk cameras to Flagstaff to film an episode of my YouTube travel photography series. On the show, which you can view directly above, I explain my newfound love for Flag, and explore my favorite photo spots in town. Please tune in and let me know what you think!
Meanwhile, I can’t wait to go back. In fact, I’ll be there in just a few days, as I return to Route 66 on a 240-mile + photography project for my friends at Kelbyone.com. (I’ll also be back in New Mexico with my pal Scott Bourne in a land of a thousand birds, otherwise known as Bosque del Apache. More on that soon.)
On Friday, 12/10, I’ll be at the Flagstaff Visitor Center, meeting folks at 4 p.m. as I lead a Photowalk Live event through my favorite downtown haunts. That night, at 7 p.m., I’ll also be meeting up with local photographers to shoot the night skies at Buffalo Park. If you’re in town, please stop by.
