A question I often get starts with “You’ve traveled everywhere” (not true, but….) and ends with “where’s the greatest place you’ve ever been?”

I’ve always said it was Venice, Italy, because every street is a picture postcard, and you have great gelato and pizza on each one of those blocks as well. What a combo!

But after spending a recent two weeks in Paris (and Lyon and Avignon) I’m going to revise the list: sorry Venice, Barcelona and Madrid, but it’s got to be Paris. Every street of the 20 arrondissements is a visual adventure, with museum like quality on even the most basic of buildings. That alone is why no city is more fun to walk in, with no particular place to go.

My latest PhotowalksTV episode kicks off the Paris series with a look at her greatest photographic hits, where and how to get them. I ran around the city armed with nothing but an iPhone, GoPro Hero 11 and Insta360 X3 cameras, taking over 5,000 photos and video, showing what’s possible with mobile photography.

I shot like the great street photographers of the 1940s and 1950s did with their Leicas. Except they couldn’t do Slo-Mo and Timelapse too.
