Bonjour from Paris!
I am in the City of Light compiling material for upcoming episodes of PhotowalksTV and will have lots more to tell you about Paris in the coming weeks. (The first Paris episode debuts 12/3.)
But first a quick travel tip: get the app and skip the lines!
The massive European tourist crowds are back in full force, even in November. There are huge lines to get in everywhere you could imagine. But book ahead with the app, Berlin based Get Your Guide (Download from iOS or Android app stores) and it will be a different experience.
For the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and Orsay Museum, as hundreds of people gathered in a cue to buy a ticket, I waltzed right in.
The snag is that you have to plan ahead. Do you pay more for the service? I have no idea, but it sure beats long lines that could Las an hour or so.
From what I can tell, Get Your Guide is huge in Europe with skip the line tickets. In the USA it’s more about selling guided tours.
If you plan to visit Europe anytime soon, save yourself some time, download the app and skip those awful lines!
