Good morning 6/19/19 from Manhattan Beach, where the sun has barely been seen for what seems like months. Okay, it’s just a few weeks, but there’s a reason the “June Gloom” phrase was coined. There’s a marine layer in June (and May) in the morning, early afternoon and most evenings.
But who’s gloomy? Not me. The morning #Photowalk is way more interesting this way. As readers of this newsletter know, I love a good cloud or two! And a morning reflection. Thank you 7 a.m. today. (I do miss a good sunset though!)
The above photos were taken on an iPhone 8 Plus, and filtered in Snapseed and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Mobile.

On the podcast today:
SEO tips for all of us, how to get our blog or website more discoverable on Google, with the great Emily Brown joining me.
The other day I stopped by Mattel headquarters in nearby El Segundo for a deep dive into how the company was taking its 51 year old toy line, Hot Wheels, into the digital age. New price: $6.99 instead of $1, and you can now bring an analog toy into videogame land, via a new app.
Yadda, yadda, yadda. The fun was checking out the digs. I was invited to sit in the passenger seat of a giant replica of a tiny car, a VW Van, circa 1960s.
Next time: I’ll be reviewing a new book by my friend Rick Sammon.
Until then, I leave you with one last #Photowalk to California’s Morro Bay, ICYMI, the land of otters, sea lions and one giant 581 foot rock.
That’s a wrap for 6/19. Thanks for reading, watching, listening! Please share the newsletter with all your friends, click HEART for like, or reply and tell me so yourself!
