In honor of National Pie Day today, we continue our journey through New Mexico with a stop to Pie Town, the little hamlet of under 200 people full of die-hard pie lovers.
Pietown sits at the top of the Continental Divide in New Mexico, with streets like "Key Lime Lane," and "Custard Avenue." There were once three thriving pie shops, but during COVID, all shut down.
Great news! Pies are back again, as I discovered when I recently visited the Pie-O-Neer restaurant in Pie Town, and sat down with owner Sarah Chavez to talk things all pie.
Beyond being a slice of heaven in an amazing part of the country, if Pie Town isn't a photo app, what is?
